A deal for today
A few details help explain this feature. A daily deal uses the standard 104-card Spider rules. Daily Challenge on longtao168.com offers one dated Spider deal for each supported suit count. The displayed challenge date identifies the daily set you are playing. Choose one suit, two suits or four suits using the game controls.
The challenge clock
Keep these points in mind. Your device's local date can differ from the challenge date near midnight. This website uses America/New_York to determine its challenge date. The date shown beside the controls is the date used for the current deal. A new calendar day in the challenge timezone produces another set of deals.
Return to a familiar layout
The daily shuffle is not selected from the verified winning-deal collection. The challenge date and selected suit count determine the starting shuffle. Loading the same date and suit count reproduces that starting layout. Different suit settings are separate daily challenges.
Complete eight runs
Keep these points in mind. The run counter records your progress toward clearing all 104 cards. A full face-up sequence is collected automatically at the bottom of a column. Clear eight same-suit sequences from King down to Ace to win. A mixed-suit sequence does not count as a completed run.
Standard Spider movement
Keep these points in mind. A single exposed card can land on a card exactly one rank higher, regardless of suit. An empty column accepts any legal movable group. A King needs an empty column because no higher rank can receive it. A group moves together only when its cards descend in one suit.
Five more rows
Here are the details for this mode. The daily table begins with fifty cards in the stock. Each stock deal places one face-up card on all ten columns. New stock cards can both create useful moves and interrupt existing sequences. Every column must be occupied before you can deal from the stock.
Saving today's progress
The following details apply here. Saved daily positions belong to this browser profile and domain. Returning to the same challenge can restore that saved position. Loading a new day's challenge replaces the saved daily position for that suit setting. With saving enabled, the browser stores your current daily game for each suit setting.
A new challenge is available
Here are the details for this mode. An open daily game checks periodically for a changed challenge date while the page is visible. The Today's challenge control loads the current day's deal. A date change displays a notice without replacing the cards you are playing. Completing an older open game records the date attached to that game.
Your local record
The following details apply here. Winning the same dated challenge repeatedly counts as one distinct daily completion. My Statistics shows daily starts and wins separately for each suit setting. The local completion record is not a public leaderboard or an account-based history. A completed challenge is also recorded by its date and suit count in this browser.
Options for another attempt
The following details apply here. Replay starts the same daily layout again. Hints offer legal moves without guaranteeing a route to victory. Undo can reverse a successful card move or a stock deal while history is available. Use Winning Deals when you want a starting position with a checked complete solution.
